Community Land Trusts website
A Community Land Trust is 'a mechanism for the democratic ownership of land by the local community'. By separating the cost of land from the cost of housing, housing can become more affordable. An article (in pdf format) in the new economics foundation newsletter shows how community land trusts are beginning to take off across the UK.
