Next meeting

We are having a picnic on the beach. 1-3pm Sunday 17 August on the beach by Maroccos cafe on Hove seafront (Kings Eslanade; see map here). It is near King Alfred's Sports Centre. There is a car park just along the front in Hove Street South and buses run along Kingsway above the sea front (025, 315, 700 - maybe others). Bring food to share. We'll put up a little Brighton Cohousing sign. If wet, we'll meet in the cafe. Call 07855 422 414 if you get lost.

Sustainable community courses

Links to some courses coming up. The only one some of us in Brighton Cohousing have been to is the Threshold Centre's, which is good for thinking about cohousing. Anyone interested in going to any?

Creating cohousing: Threshold Centre, Dorset (12-14 Sept and 14-16 Nov)

Sustainable Communities Explored: the Pines Calyx in Kent (8-9 Oct)

Living in communities: Redfield Community, Bucks (31 Oct - 2 Nov)

Sustainable Community workshop: Hockerton Housing Project in Nottinghamshire (date tba).

Let us know of anything interesting we can pass on to others.

Thanks

Julian Howell
